Okay, so I want to get a present for my 57 year old father.
He doesn't like sports anymore so suggesting gof clubs would be terrible. :]
He works as a computer programmer and he has a good sense of humour.
I'm tired of getting him gift cards because a lot of the time he doesn't really use them. [unless it's like home depot or lowes]
He likes working on things on the house.
So in conclusion.. I would love to get him something meaningfull that he'll really enjoy. Plus, it'd be nice if it was under 30 dollars.

He sounds a lot like my dad. Does he have any favorite characters? For instance, I know that I can get my dad anythng Godzilla, and he will love it. Perhaps Dilbert?
Since he likes to work around the house, I would go to Lowe's or Home Depot and see if you can find a really nice tool set, or even something multi-functinal like a Mouse, or a Dremel tool. Even a Sawz-all. Something that he can use for a lot of things. Get an associate to help you. They have good suggestions too.
