I found out that they are illegal because or their size. I have them in a plastic storage bin with gravel in the bottom so that there is a resting area and a swimming area.

get them a tank with a turtle filter. that should run you some $100 if you have a petco or a petsmart near by they have turtle kit thats about that much with extras.. get some books on turtles. also because you have 2 ones going to grow faster then the other one they are going to fight.Mine do that all the time. Dont over feed them feed them every other day or so.
