It's been a couple of days, but we have not seen the moon?! Where is it? And why can't we see it. We are in Arlington, in DC!

Scientists reported yesterday that the moon was kidnapped by one of the moons on Jupitor. It is demanding 5 earth satelites and the new K-fed cd.

Wow thats weird I live in Arlington too

I have been wondering the same question to I think its because there is clouds in the way of it might be a new moon,

Oh well I don't know its something like that

Its a combination of things. As the earth revolves around the sun and rotates on its own axis, the moon is basically doing the same thing with the addition of revolving around the earth. For a few days each month, the moon is not in position to reflect the suns light so that it can be seen.

The moon is waning and 3% illuminated from the earth today. It will be a new moon on December 20th. To see the moon, you will have to look very near the sun just after sunset. After the 20th, look near the sun just before sunrise.

Hey I live in Arlington too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I think it might be new moon?? or some kind of cloud is hding it...or maybe you are not in the right location....maybe you don't look everywhere...lots of possibilities..and i can't see it either, these days...

well the moon is in space in the milky way galaxy and maybe behind some clouds or fog
