I would not get too excited. Okay, you can buy another quart of Ben and Jerry's each month.
Your going to get an extra $1080 per year or $90 per month. It will be taxed, so you can take that number down by at least a third. So around $60 per month, conservatively.
Congrats on your raise.

The answer depends on whether you get paid by the hour or by the week.
If by the week (usually 52 weeks a year) the answer is (18000/52) * 1.06 = 366.92, or 19080 a year.
If by the hour, you get 10*1.06 = $10.6 an hour, or 60 cents extra.
Umm... how do you say this...are you attractive? You're the kind of girl I'd like to date! :-)
Bye.

You must be a part-time worker because full-time at $10/hr. is a lot more than $18k/yr. Maybe you should do the math on that first and make sure you're not getting duped.

a 6% raise would mean 10.60 an hour
and roughly 19,000 a year. Of course you have to make all the deductions.

you are too dumb to live.
It works out to $10.60 per hour, or $19,080 per year.
So, it's a bit more, but you're still firmly entrenched below the poverty line. Congratulations. Maybe he'll bump you up a bit more if you perform some "favors" for him.
