i just bought a sims game and it wont upload to my computer. i think it is from the other sims game i tried to upload to it because we never fully terminated it.now whenever i put the new game in it it will still say install but then it will ask for cd 1(which is already in there)and wen i try and put the cd 2 in it says wrong disk. i think it is asking for the old disk so it can try and upload that one again. i think whati need to do is delete the old 1all the way but it wont let me unless i have the disc. is there any way i can get around getting the other cd back to delete the old one? or is there somthing wrong with the game?

okay, I think you should uninstall the other sims game first if you haven't done so already.

then try it again. make sure you're not doing anything else when you install it.

it should install fine.

Reasons as to why it may not install correctly
1) your cd drive may be dirty or not working properly
2) your disc may be dirty, only clean with a soft cloth
or
3) your computer may not be powerful enough to run sims

Also, be patient when it installs. If you try to close a program when it is installing, or you are IM, the installation program becomes unstable, resulting in lots of time wasting afterwards.
