I'm taping it.
I didn't realise it was on until I read your question.
I'm an atheist, and like the Richard Dawkings view, but I'll watch the programme later.
I promise!!

What a load of rubbish!

I have never liked Rod Liddle and his ridiculous faux-intellectual religious programming (the atheism one and i seem to remember some pompus drivel about anglicanism amongst others).

However, the trouble with atheism had no real informed debate, and the idea that Religous extremism and the dismissal of religion are comparable is laughable. His logical fallacies are awful and his does himsself a disservice by being associated with the programme.

As a committed secular humanist and paid up member of the british humanist association i am biased, but really, Channel 4, as a public service broadcaster should be producing better than this.

Rant over.

Well, that was a bunch of dingo's kidneys.

(And that's just the camerawork!)

If you knew your theology, and your science, and you were alert to mis-statements and "straw man" arguments you could pick your way through it, and find some useful nuggets. Otherwise it was just a mess.

Describing the Fermilab building as "A temple to science" will do as an example as what was slipped in.

And Rod Liddle's final rhetorical question would get short shrift here, from atheists and theists alike. It does make a rather fundamental difference to the nature of the universe, whether or not there's a creator god involved in it.

This has been asked previously. "in actuality it became a gaggle of dingo's kidneys. (And that became in simple terms the camerawork!) in case you knew your theology, and your technology, and you have been alert to mis-statements and "straw guy" arguments you need to %. your way by way of it, and locate some clever nuggets. in any different case it became in simple terms a multitude. Describing the Fermilab development as "A temple to technology" will do to illustrate as what became slipped in. And Rod Liddle's very final rhetorical question could get short shrift here, from atheists and theists alike. It does make a touch elementary difference to the character of the universe, in spite of if or no longer there's a author god in contact in it. and there is no longer room for the two aspects to be suitable, in spite of if there are important grounds for each part being socially tolerant of the different. extra information on request, if i will remember the programme nicely adequate." My previously answer. i will think of a programme in this topic that became complicated and theory scary, yet this wasn't it. "Memes" have been reported, and disposed of, in an quite stupid and superficial way, for one extra ingredient of criticism.
