Harry Potter is a fantastic story. People young and old have enjoyed these stories. I'm sorry to see it end within the next year. To the guy who said Harry Potter is for people who don't read real literature...get a life honey. Don't knock on me just because you don't have an imagination.

different stories appeal to different people for different reasons. to discredit someone for having a different perspective on what is enjoyable is immature and incredibly ignorant. some people never develop beyond the "i like it, therefore it is good. i don't like it, therefore it is bad. anyone who disagrees with me is stupid" attitude that is acquired when they are about three years old.
if you want to learn, engage with people who disagree with you. if you want to continue believing you don't need to learn anything more, stay with the people who share the same opinions.

Have you read it? If not, don't knock it unless you've tried it.

If you have read it and just don't like it, oh well, to each his/her own.
