The persistent legend that we only use a certain portion of our brain is a myth. Our brain is compartmentalized with certain areas of our brain performing certain specific functions. So you do use all of your brain, just not all at once.

I think it is an arrogant statement that made the person that said this say it... Seriously, how can he measure the TOTAL usage of a brain? I mean, even in a coma brains are prodcuing Alpha waves, so obviously they are doing something....
