pretty dresses are nice for girls, but so are combats. However, I think pretty PINK dresses are a little too twee, and, going to the other extreme, BLACK combats are a little too harsh for little girls. How about a blue/purple dress or brown combats?
As for boys, shorts or trousers are nice
