This is the real reason, after doing Friday, his mother seen the movie and was very displeased with him so he said that he would never play a character like that anymore. Now if any of you watch B.E.T, then you would remember him giving this interview. Although some of this other reasons mgiht be true in addition to this. Heck, he could've just lied about the whole "my mama" thang anyway on B.E.T.

It's possibly because they couldn't afford to pay for him to appear in the sequels. By the time the sequel was being done, Chris Tucker had blown up in Rush Hour (check the dates in his career timeline).

His pay rate sky rocketed after doing Rush Hour and the sequel with Jackie Chan. The budget for the other Fridays could not pay him what he wanted.

He said he just didn't want to do it, for no particular reason. I think it would be good if Ice Cube can make another with Chris Tucker and Michael Epps in it. That would be a classic.
