Racism and prejudice exists. Not only are blacks, gays, and mentally handicapped judged; but white, Christians, and the intelligent are. Almost everyone has been the victim of it. Women and men are prejudged, blacks and white, gays and nongays, Christians, Buddhists, atheists, muslims, hindis, etc.

To say only blacks are judged racially is absolute lie. Get your heads out of the sand. I get judged often by Arabs who come into my store. I happen to be the only girl working there and I do not wear a head piece and I am mainly white. There are many who are very mean to me because I am not muslim (it is obvious to customers that I am not). But there are also muslim customers who are very kind to me. There are jerks all over the globe of every nationality.

The term "minority" when talking about nationality is racist. People who are not white are NOT a minority. And the term "majority" when talking about nationality is racist as well.

What is the purpose of this question? Just a strike at minorities to stop caring about being racially insulted and attacked? First off, racism is alive and well, it's too easy to see that. And racism has become a blanket statement. Many also use it to include religious and gender intolerance, but those don't exist either, right?

I used to literally think the same way as you. Seriously. I thought everyone who whined about racism was on drugs (figuratively.)

Then I moved from Chicago to the South. All of a sudden, I had people that literally hated me because I have a Spanish last name. I got called every racial name in the book, even ones that don't apply to Spanish people. It was eye-opening.

Racism is getting more and more taboo, but is still alive and well in some places.

Racism does exist, unfortunately it appears it exists the most in the hearts and minds of those who claim to be the victims of it - ex: Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc. They are the real racists.

My guess is you're ignorant enough to actually believe this garbage. Go wash and iron your KKK pajamas for your meeting tonight at Bubba's trailer. Git-r-done,inbred.

When women stop making up stories about rape, sexual abuse and harassment. We all know that stuff never goes on in the U.S. either.

That's when minorities will stop talking about racism.

I lived in a place with about 50 illegal South American(read:Mexican) residents. They hated my guts because I was a pinje Americano. And for no other reason. (well, I did like two of them, but they wer here legally.)

Did I cry victim? No. I just called the border patrol. Problem solved.
