If by "dial tone" you mean Answer Tone... or what the caller hears when waiting for you to pick up the phone... then go to your service provider's website or on your cell phone and look for Answer Tones you can purchase and download to your phone. If you are talking about Ring Tone... or what you hear when you phone is ringing then you can download these as well or go into the Menu > My Stuff > Audio > and select the ringtone you want by pressing the Menu key again. change dial tone? you can change ringtones, message tones, keypad tone volume etc but never heard of the dial tone being changed. Sure you are asking for the right thing?

i like my Razr v3. It took awhile to get used to the "flatness" jointly as protecting it to speak on the telephone.
