I'm just wondering how kids do it?

I have no idea but am definitely interested to find out, maybe they use print screen and paste them into documents? But that still doesn't help too much if its timed.

It depends entirely on how they are supervised while taking the test. If it's an internet course they're taking from home, you have to assume it is being treated like an open-book test. In slightly more supervised settings, it is still possible for the student to have another window open for Google, Wikipedia, or some reference site. If you're trying to avoid cheating, an online exam should be proctored every bit as closely as a traditional test.

I heard that they use there books and notes and sometimes someone else takes the exam for them.

If you take it from home, you open up another window and find a website with all the information.

I've never had to because I'm smart enough to study and remember what I study.
