what do you recommend is the best cell phone to get, i use T-MOBILE but i think i can use any phone as long as it is unlocked, is that right?

nokia and sony ericsson in my opinion make the best cell phones in terms of softwares,general phone design,operating system and picture quality,sound quality,software,user-friendliness respectively.
as for individual cell phones which are hot,for nokia u've got n95,n75,n91 music edition,n73 music edition and n70 music edition.these phones have good designs,good memory capacity and compatibility to cool softwares.sony ericsson hv the following...

My opinion about the cell phones is that.... Nokia is the best :) it developed much and has the most experience in phone making. If you need a phone with open system the best is the 6600 with a symbian operatin sistem. You can play a lot of cool games and it`s easy to install everything. :)
