No, don't follow the crowd. Pretty soon everyone will want to be like you and nobody will get tattoos, then you can get one.

That is a question that only you can answer. Having said that, here is some advice that may help. Make sure you know exactly what you want, tattoos are permanent. I know there is laser removal, but it is painful and expensive and it still leaves a mark. If you are sure of the design that you want, make sure you think long and hard about where to put it. Think about any future career that you want, and make sure that your tattoo is hidden from sight at work. I know that we are supposed to be living in an enlightened society, but for some things there will always be a stigma. Make sure you do your research on tattoo shops. Look at the artists portfolios, take a look around, is it clean, is it professional? There are quite a few places that do shotty work, so make sure the place that you are trusting to do work on your body is a quality establishment.
PS, I have tattoos and I love them, but if you have a low pain thresh hold, you should probably reconsider.
Hope this helps.

If you're only going to get one because the rest of your friends have one, then don't do it. If you really want a tattoo, then go ahead and do it. However, keep in mind that it's going to be there forever unless you spend a lot of money to have it removed later. Also, think about how it will look on you when your in your sixties or seventies. Is a cloverleaf or bunny or butterfly that cute when it's on wrinkly, saggy seventy year-old skin?
Also, please do not get it on the small of your back just above your buttcrack. That looks so trashy on a woman.

No, unless the Tattoo means a lot to you.
Many people I know who had them when they were younger would give anything for them to be removed.
Wait until you have children and get their face tattoed on you. That is possibly the only reason to get a Tattoo. When you reach 40, you will regret having a Tattoo of no meaning.

I think if you are having to ask this, the answer is NO, you should not get a tattoo. You get one because you want one and it means something to YOU, not because everyone else has one.

if it means a lot to you than yea. have something that's influenced you in some way. put some thought into it, don't just get it cuz everyone else has one. it's going to be there for the rest of your life, you don't want to explain to your kids about any silly choices.

You should get a tattoo if it has meaning to you. I'm debating the same question now. If and when you get something makesure you are ok with it showing (or not shwoing if its hiddin ;-) ) and makesure its something that holds something of value to you. :-D that is the best reason to get a tattoo.

If you do it just remember that you will have it for life. Don't get one just because everyone else has one. Be your own person, really think it threw before you do it.
