should i take off my old gels when i'm going in to get brand new ones??

Please, do not remove your old nails before getting new ones. If you do it improperly you can damage your nail beds and leave them open to infection. The nail tech will soak them off and this is part of the manicure. I know because my daughter is a nail tech. they also like to look at the condition of the old acrylic to see how it is doing, also, sometimes they do not need to remove the old nails, just fill and trim the ones you have. But if you do want them off, please have the nail tech do this..I can not stress this enough. Taking them off yourself can weaken the nail bed by taking off too many layers!! It is not considered rude.

Absolutely not. Of course, they will charge you for nail removal and it'll take longer, but it is not rude. They will just see it as an extra charge to get more $$$ outta you.
