Haha, I'd say it's just because you're from New Zealand. No one I know calls 'em "kiwifruit" :o Just kiwi! :P BQ: I'm actually not a fan of kiwi. BQ2: Yaw sure :3 Kiwi, kiwi, kiwi... Say that enough times and it'll start sounding weird 0.o Interesting question. Star for you :D

their name maybe the same, but one is a kind of fruit and the other one is an animal.
go to a supermarket and buy some kiwi, then try it.
i'm not sure what kiwi birds taste like. i think like chicken.

I always thought they taste like shoe polish. Really easy to open though- you just twist the little metal flap, and the lid comes right off!
