If you believe we don't have any problems......let me guess you went to public schools?

To improve the USA it has to start with improving the educational system we have.

Very true. Once you mentioned public schools, you left the door open to major sarcasm. The want of a better education is the right , or should be the right of all US citizens. I don't understand why people were bashing Bush on his voucher idea which would have allowed all citizens the right to send their children to any school, public or private.By giving the parents the power to decide, public schools and others would have to either provide a better education or lose funding.I don't see whats wrong with making our school systems accountable.
I do not agree with Sen.Hillary Clinton when she said that school vouchers were a very bad thing because they were a Republican attempt to free parents to choose the schools that they thought were best for their kids. This kind of freedom was bad, she argued, because some parents are stupid parents who would make the wrong choice.

Actually, lots of people come to the U.S. to be educated in her educational system. Yes, some public primary and secondary schools have gone to the pits due to lack of societal support of our teachers, and to much focus is put on bad students, at the expense of good students. Yes, their are lots of problems in the U.S, but it is a bit simplistic to point the finger at the "Educational system". Also, you would be surprised about how bad education is in many other countries -- judging other nations educational systems by only their best and brightest examples (those you are likely to meet in in the U.S.) is folly.
