Idle means that the person is not currently active. They may have accidently left the messenger logged in and left, or they just stepped away from the computer for a while.

Idle just means that they haven't used the IM for a specific amount of time. They could possibly have it set to show that they are idle for example 15 minutes of no conversations

i recognize yahoo messenger yet i hit upon a large number of issues of it. in case you opt for to speak with human beings from around the international then it must be yahoo. If its merely buddies you opt for to speak to then it must be msn messenger.
