How would you know that it was a perfectly good plane? Once you fall to your death maybe the plane runs out of gas or explodes in midair. Fate and decision are both a big part of life.

I would never jump out of a perfectly good airplane. Doesn't make sense

I will answer this rhetorical question with another question. If you were flying over Antarctica in the space shuttle, and stuck your head out the window to take a picture of Polar bears swimming underwater, when you had the pictures developed, would they be upside down?....lol

Use the back-up chute, and pray that it works better than the first one.
If it didn't work, then I'd piggyback on my kidnappers chute. Kidnapping is the only way you'd catch me jumping out of a plane.

Nothing! Of course, the airplane is not airborne. It is on the ground, hence, chances are you only get some broken bones or if you are one of those daredevils, a few scratches.

pull the emergency cord, unless the airplane was not flying and still on the ground, then i wouldn't need either 'chute.
