My avatar rarely looks close to what I look like, so I don't necessarily bother to change it if I change my hairstyle. I change it based on my mood only. That means sometimes, my avatar is male even though I'm a woman. Sometimes my avatar is black even though I'm white. Sometimes my avatar is blonde even though I'm a brunette. I'm not limited by my actual appearance when I select my avatar.

Sweetie, you can change the avatar anytime you want. If you're thinking about changing hairstyles, change it on the avatar first to see if you like it, if not, you don't have to wait for it to grow back or whatever.

It's your choice. Your avatar dosen't HAVE to look like you. If you feel lilke changing your avatar, go ahead! If you don't, then don't!

Thanks for reminding me. I've been meaning to change my avatar's hairstyle. I change it whenever the mood strikes.
