If you suspect a kidney infection you need to GO TO A DOCTOR! This is one of the warning signs that really may necessitate immediate western care. I am NOT big on doctors and believe in self reliance in medicine as a general rule, yet a kidney infection can be dangerous enough that medical care is imperative. There are herbs and foods you can use to help heal and prevent further problems - AFTER you receive care.
If you are speaking of a BLADDER infection, that is not so serious and CAN be more easily treated at home without need of orthodox care so if this is what you meant do not not worry - there are many remedies and lifestyle habits that are helpful.
Some burning/discomfort and frequency of urination with cloudy urine is likely simply a bladder infection. If you experience or have pus or blood in your urine, fever, chills, pain in your lower back (can be extreme), nausea or vomitting, please seek medical care!
For real info on using herbs for your health, please take a bit more time and care than on yahoo answers from sources that are legitimate and not trying to sell you anything. Or visit a trained herbalist. Good luck

Some remedies that worked for me:

Drink lots of PURE water. A Breta filter does wonders. Tap water usually has tons of addons in it, which your body and your kidneys in general do not like.

Cranberry juice is very good, but it has to be natural, not from concentrate.

Grapes are a natural diuretics. This will help your kidneys to expel any build ups.

Eat a little bit of garlic each day. Garlic is a natural anti-biotic that your body does not build ammunity to. Garlic will help to fight off the infection.

Drinking lemon juice or orange juice (natural, not concentrate) or even just eating the fruit itself will help greatly since they both contain Vitamin C, which will boost your ammune system. Vitamin C will help you to fight off the infection.

Eat a little bit of Parcley. Parcley, like grapes, is another diuretic.

If you wish to have healthy kidneys, pay attention to your diet. Don't drink alcohol. Stay away from concentrates, candy, and junk food in general. Your kidneys are your body's filters. If they start disfunctioning, your blood will start to carry stuff its not sapose to and you will develop other illnesses.

If your kidneys give you trouble, consider a fast. Fasting allows your body to take a breather and focus on healing your body. Check out www.rawfoodexplained.com for step by step guides.

I don't recommend taking supplements or multi-vitamins as, your body does not fully absorb them. The excess thats left over, yea your kidneys have to filter that. Means more work.

I hope that helps. If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Good luck.
