it's never greener on the other side. That's really a fallacy. I think most people want more than they can ever have, but the real goal in life is to not only be happy with what you have, but to have less so that others can have any. It's funny that I don't make as much money as many of my other friends, but I have more money because I have less stuff.

Sometimes it's the trip to the other side that changes your perception of what's greener.

It's not the destination, but the road that gets you there.

You only want more because someone else has more than you. So yah it's true, but you can also determine when to stop wanting more as well. We do have a choice; a) Want more b) Stop wanting.

yep.. you will always wonder about and wish something more than what you have.. that's just human nature.
Ive somewhere that the true human desire is always a desire of another desire, you want someone to love you, you want something because the other person wants it or has it or something. That's what makes us different from animals, satisfying our needs is never enough, we always desire something, andif we get what we desire, there's always something else...

I always think if I do or have this one thing my life will be so much better! It never seems to be good enough! I wish I knew how to be happy with what I have! Dont get me wrong I love my life!
