I just got tickets to a standing room only venue to see Taylor Hicks. I've never been to a standing room only before, so what time should I get there to make sure I get near the front? What time do people usually start lining up. (No stupid remarks about Taylor Hicks please)

I'm from Alabama about an hour or so from Taylor's hometown but hospitalized waiting for a lung transplant so can't see him in person but would LOVE to!
I watched him on AI, voted for him, have his cds & watch him everytime I know he is gonna be on tv.

Get there as early as possible. If you want to be near the front of the stage get there at least 5-6 hours before the show. Wear comfortable shoes.
