British bands like The Beatles went to Germany (in their case Hamburg) mainly because the Germans had a great hunger for lively, unique and loud British rock music.

The language of rock n roll is English, consequently the closest English speaking country to Germany is of course England.

Bands from Liverpool were especially wanted because lots of great rock n roll records arrived in England first in Liverpool from cargo and navy ships from the US, hence the Liverpool bands were reknowned for knowing the latest rock hits.

In addition, the British bands were far more "rocking" than anything coming out of Germany. The Beatles would jump around the stage like mad things: smoking, drinking on stage, getting into fights with the patrons. In addition they took speed tablets to allow them to stay awake during their long shows. The affect was that they were even more wild and crazy on stage which the Hamburg audiences just loved.

The (first) british invasion surpassed off throughout the time of the mid 60s to the previous due 60s. So different bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin are not quite british invasion bands. and positively no longer Queen, their first album replaced into released in 1973! properly, i admire those 3 named above, too yet to call some authentic british invasion bands I additionally like: - The Yardbirds - The Beatles - The Who
