Timing belts don't go faulty, they're good or they're not. Chances are the odometer has reached a pre-determined milage and this is a service light advising that the belt is due a change.
Toyota would expect the work to be done at a dealers who would have the equipment to reset the service light after the work has been completed.

His timing belt is faulty. If the Timing gets out of sync then you can end up wricking the whole engine so get it in the garage asap for an inexpensive replacement of the timing belt rather than completely writing off the engine by the pistons crunching into the valves and tappets when the timing goes wrong.

The milage for the timming belt has run out i would have it checker the normal milage for a belt change is about 40 to 50 thousand miles , better safe than sorry

Amazingly it means the T BELT needs changed. The T Belt is the Timing Belt and should be changed periodically.

Its a reminder the car needs a new cam belt. You don't have to rush out and do it yesterday but get it changed in the very near future. Believe me you don't want a broken cam belt....

That is a warning light to tell you that the timing belt is due to replace. Better get it done otherwise you'll get a lot of bangs in the engine compartment.

It means change the belt is old or at least dodgy. Please change before it breaks and the valves get bent. That is the cost mentioned before. This is normal service on some toyotas. Not a repair per se.

dont panic but i would advise you to get it changed,as if it snaps you could be in for an exspensive repair bill or a new engine the life span of most cam belts is usually about 40000-60000 miles but this is not definate, good luck find yoursef a good garage in the not too distant future
