Okay, so nowadays, everyone is shaving "down there" Personally, I don't really want to, but I'm wondering, is it any easier during your period when you shave there? Like... cleaner, I guess? Just wondering, thanks!

Well, you don't get discharge stuck in hair anymore, but there's a lot of bare skin. So you sweat down there, and without the hair wicking it away to help it evaporate, you can get smellier- especially during your period. I have switched to using tampons almost exclusively (except at night) to keep the moisture level at a minimum. I also use a neutral body cleanser (Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash) all over my body (not just down there) to keep my genitalia from getting itchy. Bar soap tends to be irritating anyway, and shaving the pubic hair just amplifies the discomfort. During your period, you are even more sensitive because of the constant moisture, and a gentle cleanser is a must.

In a way, yes. You see, there might be some blood stuck down there,so,to make sure you ddon't save dirt down there,it will be best to shave. It mught not be ror period purposes only,i mean think of the normal discharges also, whenn not properly washed could cause irritation.

I personally don't wanna have a baby butt, it might be cleaner, but the hair is there for a reason. Do what you feel best.

It is cleaner without hair. You don't have to shave it, just trim it low.

It does not matter what you do. Cleaner, No! With pubic hair, it absorbs sweat! Without pubic hair, you might get a odor from sweat!! No, it does not make it cleaner though!! Don't worry about what other people do, just do what you think is comfortable to you!!

If you wear tampons, it doesn't make any difference.

I personally trim mine.
