add the atomic weight together

then take carbon and divide into total weight

12/152

then multiply by 100 to get percent

0.0789x100 = 7.89%

C =14 and 4 Cl = 35*4 =140

So CCl4 weights 154 and % of C is 14*100/154 = 9.1 %

C=12/152=7.9%
Cl4= 140/152=92.1%
