My friend is gay and she is starting to like me because she told me to try a relationship with her. But, I am not a lesbian, so how can I tell her that I don't like her like that, while still having a friend relationship? I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Tell her your not gay. Tell her you only like guys. That should settle it.

I agree with everything others have written here except for reading the bible or bringing the religious talk in!
For her to not take it personally you shouldn't say I'm not attracted to "YOU"... You should say I'm not sttracted to "Women"... and do tell her first that you don't want to hurt her feelings and you really cherrish her friendship... also don't act disgussted or anything, in fact mention that you are very flattered and if you ever had any attraction towards a woman you would have considered it but as you don't it's best that you stay friends....

hope this helped

You say just what you did just now.

Tell her you like her as a friend, tell her you don't want anything to come between you as friends, tell her you're not interested in a lesbian relationship or affair.

If she's a good friend, she'll not only understand but also respect your wishes.

I think saying the exact kinds of things you've said in your question might do quite well: "I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I'm not attracted to you in that way. I hope we can still be friends."

Just be honest. Tell her that you love her as a friend but that you aren't gay and you never will be. Tell her that it makes you uncomfortable when she makes passes at yuo but you don't want to lose her as a friend. Make sure she knows that it isn't her sexuality that scares you, just her advances.

Yeah, I had a friend attracted to me before too. I simply told him that I had no attraction to men and he was cool with it. In fact, we're still friends and I occasionally get an email from him from time to time.

Tell her:

YOU: (Friends name) _____ I'm really sorry but I don't feel for you like that but lets go to a club and hang out and check out people.

It's better to hurt her feeling so she might change instead of letting her go to Hell. Tell her that what she is, is against her own conscience, society, nature and God.
Tell her the Truth.

tell her to grow up... she's going after you because she's desperate and or lazy to look for someone else... if she doesn't get it, move on and find another friend...
