instead of telling you about the market, or shop, let me tell you about the make. Buy a shiffon sari, with rajasthani chundri print. It will cost you around 275, but it looks great. If you are healthy, or slim, the sari will stick to your body, and give you a great curvy look. go 4 plain saree wit a very stylish blouse
go 4 plain black or white shiffon or geogette material which u can easily get frm lajpat nagar
n don't forget to go 4 sme elegant accessaries wit that
and if u don't wanna go 4 this then go to ctc mall u wil find all kinds of saree n in every range

i have no idea.... sorry dear ...
but I'm writing here cuz ur question reminds me of my farewell...
I was in co-ed school ..on the day of farewell all my grl classmates were wearing sari....and they were looking so beautiful and mature in it ...at tht time ..I was thinking r they the same grls with whom i have been studying for so many yrs...and I was happy bcuz the color of my pant and of the sari of the grl i used to like most was same.. :D

well ,you can go to lajpat ngr,there you would get a variety,also sarojni ngr would be a good option. buy something less expensive if it is going to be a one time ear.
otherwise go to some good shop to buy one,as sarees never go out of season.
if ur farewell is at night try a black saree with a border and work on the blouse. it looks chick with ethnic jewellery.

There are many places like Kamla Nagar, Rajouri Garden but I guess Karol Bagh would be the best place.

Sarees are the main frequent placed on in India. all people who sees a women is saree develops a style of appreciate for her on the 1st sight. If u r coming all a thank you to India to fulfill ur inlaws I recommend u take little greater discomfort to drape urself in a saree so they take exhilaration in u for respecting their values, custom... Its no longer purely the appearance u ought to focus however the respect that u'll earn in a saree... U can choose for a typical purple/Maroon Saree with embroidery ... or an yellow one....that wud look great on U as u r too easy...Dont choose for uninteresting easy colours... each and every of the superb of success !!
