There are always seagulls in most states, when I was working in the fields, in colorado, nebraska and whyoming driving a tractor they would follow me so close I could almost touch them, they were after the bugs and stuff being churned up from plowing.

Richard is quite right.....they are very much in Denver. Actually, there are in many places across the state. I live in Pueblo and there are many seagulls here. My husband is from New Mexico and it just amazes him every time he sees one. He always asks me about it, and I just don't have an answer for him....or you for that matter! The only thing I can figure is there are several large reservoirs around the state and they are attracked to the water. But you are quite right....they are here and they don't leave! Sorry I can't be of better help!

are you able to be greater specific in what area of October you would be vacationing? the components variations plenty from the initiating of the month to the tip. in many cases October is between the nicest months to pass to the section. the components is stunning for countless the month. it could snow in Denver in October yet its no longer in many cases. in many cases the temps are in the 60s or 70s. whether by the tip of the month and on the factor of Halloween there constantly seems to be a metamorphosis and the components turns greater chilly and moist. So in case you could are available in the 1st a million/2 of the month you will by no skill be upset. the autumn foliage is outstanding right now to boot! As for wintry climate Park, it may be an outstanding place to pass to to boot. Its in many cases only a ski section and in early October they gained't be open for snowboarding yet. i could propose staying somewhat closer to city greater geared to vacationers including Vail or Brekenridge. the two are approximately an hour or somewhat longer faraway from Denver. i'm additionally happy to hearken to you have an activity in going to a Broncos recreation! Tickets will by no skill be obtainable for quite a while because of the fact the NFL schedule isn't introduced until the 2d week in April. The final week in July the Broncos sell person recreation tickets by Ticketmaster. yet you could act speedy, those tickets will sell out in approximately 10 minutes or much less. in case you don't be in a position to get tickets that way you will could use a value ticket broking provider including stub hub or purchase tickets from scalpers on recreation day. you will pay a mark up this variety however the charges at the instant are not outrageous like a number of the east coast communities are. you're starting to be a great time on the recreation! the ambience is a huge and October is my in demand time to pass to a recreation.

I have no idea how they got here originally. And they are around all year long. I am from the east coast-grew up on an island and never thought I'd see gulls in Colorado. I have renamed them "garbage gulls" and "flying rats". It helps me make sense of the paradox. They are definately related to the pesty gulls on the east coast- where I once saw a giant gull pulling a plastic bag full of empty glass bottles through the sand on the beach. I guess they go where the garbage is.

Those aren't "seagulls" but they are in the same family of birds. They are gulls, just not seagulls.
