It is hard to find coats, especially right now. We checked Delia's american eagle, aeropostale, hollister, wet seal, and even pac sun.
The problems we ran in to at those sites were they were either sold out or too expensive (we live in the south, no need to spend a fortune on a coat!)
Do you know where we finally found one my daughter liked?
Target.
Check online, they have tons of coats all types. same styles as the mall coats.
(and they even put the puffer coats in a separate category so you can avoid them, lol)

If you can afford a $100 jacket Victoria's secret has a bunch a good ones in their catalog. Check their website.

I know exactly what you mean. I looked EVERYWHERE for a cute jacket that
A) wasnt puffy
and B) had no fur.
and its practically impossible.
but i finally found a cute fitted blazer (like i was looking for) at macys in the juniors section.
you also might try JCpenneys or if they have a Dillards where you live, thats a good place too.

I have a really cute winter coat on right now and it is like fur on the inside and tan suede on the outside, it is really comfortable and very stylish for the winter for a girl you age.

go to Burlington Coat factory and look at the wool coats. They are soo nice, and not puffy
