A blackberry is a mobile phone. An iPod is an Mp3 player so They're two different things. I would go with the blackberry. It's much more handy and it has many features.

I wouldn't go for the blackberry! (mobile phone)
Unless he is a buisness man who needs to be constantly checking emails and hasn't got a laptop then its no no in my opinion as i don't think they look cool!
An ipod is a great idea but other music players now are just as good and their are products on the market that do the same job as a mobile phone/ipod combined!!

Other suggestions are:

-Tickets for a gig for him and one friend to see someone he is interested in (ie, if interested in indie bands: keane have got a tour going on during next year : http://www.ents24.com/web/artist/5763/Keane.html)

-Half a season ticket for his favorite football club (if he likes football!)

- Sony Waterproof MP3 Player 2GB ( Great if into music and like just like an ipod but better in my view because it's water-proof) http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/content/products/details/index~modelcode~SON-NWS205FBC.htm

If you want to go for the notorious ipod though, the nano is the best for that price range.

8GB will hold around 2000 songs, so maybe you'd be better getting a 2GB/4GB.. less money and i'm sure enough room for all tracks!
£165

Hope you find something even if non of the above took your eye!

If your going along the lines of an mp3 then it has to be the Zen V Plus from Creative. 4GB model would cost about €200(£130).

Basically it holds loads of songs, plays videos and is ridiculously small

Rage has the terrific theory, beg off and get something spectacular the next day. it particularly is Boxing Day, in spite of everything. in case you have been my sis, i could be exceptionally happy to understand you adore me, and care. attributable to my brother and sister in regulation Father Christmas has on no account neglected us, even after my mum died. regardless of your lateness with presents...would each and every 2d as we talk be Wickedly Merry, joyous, and happy for you and your brothers, and anybody else! 150 pounds!! That's a hella lotta money.
Try a digital video recorder with software for emailing videos. They sell them here in the states for about $80.00 with a 30 minute recording limit.
