Ignore him, you should only have to tell him one time that it's over. He'll eventually get the hint that you meant what you said.

Was he a friend, before he became your boy friend?
What does 'not being your boyfriend' mean?
What rights and privileges does a boyfriend have, that a friend does not have?
I would not date someone unless I was friends with them first.
If I gave them girl friend status, then in my mind, I would like to be more than friends, and I would like it to exclusive.
When I break up with some, it usually means that the relationship is not going anywhere, or that one of us feels that sexual intimacy is out of the question or there is problems with being exclusive. It does not necessarily mean, "I hate your guts and I never want to see you again."
You can have an ex and still care. It could be that he is trying to let you know there is no hard feelings, but I do not know the content of his email. Since it bothers you, you need to talk to him about it and see if you are on the same page.

Why don't you grow up before you get into any more relationships.
Presumably a boyfriend of more than a couple months deserves more than you're gone, don't call me.
If you can dump guys that coldly you don't deserve someone who gets attached. That leads to a life of loneliness.

Since you asked this in Marriage & Divorce, I assume you're married. Just ask your husband to beat the ex up -- I'm sure he'll be happy to help you out.

tell him one more time that you don't want to be with/talk to him anymore, and that if he sends you any more emails you will simply delete them without reading them. don't be mean, just be firm. you clearly want to make a clean break, which is smart, but sadly it sounds like your ex won't get the picture unless there is no way for him to think he has a hope of getting you back.

Get your new boyfriend to beat the crap out of him.
No, just kidding (kinda).
Don't email him back, but don't ignore him. If he has any friend you talk to, talk to them and get him to back off. Failing that, confront him once, only once, then block his email address.

ignore it. if he keeps it up after a week, block his e-mails. if he calls, block his number. if he still calls, get the police involved. if he ever EVER shows up unannounced, call the police.

i would say you have to re-state it,
but if he doesn't get it by then, probably just ignore him.
