My brother once worked at a computer company, and they were a 24 hour computer help service. Some lady called in and kept saying there was no cd drive in her computer. My brother tried to help her, but there was no use. He then explained where it should be on the computer, and the lady exclaimed, "Those filthy rats, they give me a giant drink holder (reffering to the cd drive) but they don't give me a friggen cd drive!!!" Problem Solved...lol

A lady's dog opened a box It contained medication over the counter kind. Apparently UPS chucked it over the fence. (this was a replacement) and the dog ate 40 pills, she managed to call after counting them, and call us verse the vet. Before anything she started ranting on saying she was suing the company. UPS however said they cover the vet bill if it came down to it. Well while on the phone with UPS 45 minuets go by and UPS calls the customer while I am on hold, well the lady is on the phone will UPS where she lives wanting a refund, but the lady couldn’t get it. So the suppose sick dog never went to the vet. The manufacture said even eating the whole bottle just give the dog an upset stomach nothing bad. The lady ended up with a second replacement bottle on top of all of this. Then the lady calls again to speak with a manager over this, after being told repeatedly UPS said they would take care of it, and the dog never went to the vet, the woman just wanted money. It was sad actually. She was refunded on top of everything else and UPS said no vet bill ever had occurred so we lost money on 3 medications that’s 48$ times 3 on this lady who lied over something horrible. If my dog did that I’d be at the vet not claming to sue someone.

ahhh I used to work for a call center. It was horrible. You get verbally abused and mistreated all day by all kinds of people. There are some cool ones too, but most are boring. It was an animal health company I worked for. A crazy call I got once was this woman who's dog(who had parvo) had just been run over by a car and had died. She was crying on the phone to me for like 20 minutes! All she wanted to know was if we had something that would kill the parvo in her house, so she could get a new dog.

Actually I worked in a call center/auto claims office....and it was crazy ALL the calls I got from folks whose cars were stolen while they were at the movies! People would come out after being at the movies for two hours and find their cars missing. Talk about taking advantage of a known opportunity.

I worked for Dell once, a woman called in about a laptop that was about ten years old. In computer life, that's ancient. She said that her internet wouldn't turn on. After trying my best to understand, I finally realized that the "internet" was the computer itself. So I start troubleshooting the system and ask her to remove the battery, she then replies that I'm trying to make her kill herself by having her get shocked by the system. She went on and on about how she couldn't believe that Dell would allow someone to tell a customer to do something so dangerous and possibly cause her to lose her life. I called my comrades and put it on speaker so they could hear. None of us had a straight face. She screams bastards as loud as she can and then hangs up the phone. It was classic.

Yes. I use to work at a call center for Eastbay.com.
The craziest call I got was when a guy called and he wanted to check availibility and prices on some items. He gave me the product numbers and all of them were women's sports bras, womens thongs, womens socks and shirts...Etc and everytime i confirmed the item (said it out loud) he'd moan. By the time i caught on to what he was doing he started moaning really loud and i said "sir im going to have to end this call" he was like "ooooh hh yeeaaah its ok, im done." YUCK.

The craziest call I ever received was from a guy who had just bought a Dell Inspiron laptop and asked for support on it. Hahaha, the fool. I wish you good luck - don't let them numb your mind, as it's usually the first thing to go..

I worked as a phone enumerator for the US Dept. of Commerce years ago. A guy needed some answers to census questions. When I told him we could send someone over, he said if we did, he'd shoot them with his rifle. Lol.
