Do you have a saltwater tank? Lobsters and starfish are saltwater fish and will die in freshwater.

There is a LOT to know about saltwater, and it is VERY expensive to set up. Even a relatively small tank (40 gallons, say. - you should never get smaller than 40 gallons for saltwater) will cost you 800$+ to set up.

However, keep an eye on sales and local classifieds. Pick up a book on salt water and start purchasing the items you will need - you can get them very cheap, used. It will take you a while to do all the research you need to, and maybe in a year or two you'll have all the stuff you need.

In the meantime, get involved in a freshwater tank. You need good freshwater experience before going into saltwater. Research how to start up a tank. Here are some good articles

Remember, always take what the petstores say with a grain of salt. They are there to sell fish, not take care of them. Research everything before you buy it.

Well, first you will need the COMMITMENT to KEEP a saltwater tank. If you want it like the one from Finding Nemo, get a 40+ gallon tank. Remember, this hobby will cost you about 1000 dollars, if you want fish, and no corals, you will need to do water changes bi-weekly (every two weeks) and need to check water often. Still want to do it? Many petstores now sell all the fish, some ones I remember from that tank are... Percular clown, yellow tang, royal gramma, shrimp, starfish (if you get coral, chocolate chip stars are a no-no.) and that is all I an remember. Please read what you are getting yourself into before you star, it is a lot of work, and if you mess up and you have coral, you could kill thousands of dollars worth of stuff! Please read up on it, good luck.

there is organic sea salt for tanks bought in great gallon jugs. that's dry and on the marketplace at maximum puppy grant wholesalers like suitable puppy grant in Sacramento California. that's much less costly than on the spot Ocean and could pass alot farther, greater bang on your greenback! good success.
