It supposed to be about him coming out of retirement to enter the ring one last time. I personally think he is to old to play the part, but who am I to judge.

Another reflection of Hollywoods inability to come up with anything new. When will we get tired of seeing sequels or remakes of old TV shows or remakes of older films. Can't anyone write an idea about somthing NEW.

I personally don't think that Stallone is a good actor at all. The only good thing that came from the Rocky movies is the Survivor song, "Eye of the Tiger".

My husband wants to see the movie this weekend. I said no way in hell. Let me just beat my head against a wall instead.

MsRay, I saw the trailer just last night and thought I was dreaming. Isn't he too old to box? I mean, he is a good looking man for his age and he has a nice body. But can his head take a pounding anymore (movie-wise)? I love Sylvester Stallone (Judge Dread is my absolute favorite) but...give Rocky a rest!

Yes.........you are right!!
Sylvester Stallone is too freakin' old for this!!
Come on & give us a break already, Sly!
If anything, he should of done a prequel---
possibly called "In the beginning--Rocky!"-
starring James Franco, produced & directed by
Sly himself....
This latest movie was made out of desperation
for more ca$h for Mr. Stallone 'cause he doesn't
know any other movies to make that should be
more in tune w/actors of his age caliber.....
He should just do some extensive research
on other movie roles other than Rocky or Rambo!!

Peace*****************************

Stallone wanted closure for the Rokcy Balboua movies and wanted Rocky to go in history with some style.

Umm...who should they get to play Rocky coming out of retirement...ben affleck. No, you get the original person. You cannot have a "young" Rocky coming out of retirement, you have to have an old Rocky. There is some realism to it as well...remember George Foreman coming out of retirement a few years back.

My initial reaction, was, "Please no!" However, I heard a review of the movie over the weekend and both reviewers liked it very much. They said it was a good way to end the Rocky series of movies. I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD, but at least it doesn't appear to be another way for Stallone to wring some $$$ out of your pocket.

Just fine, it completes the whole story of Rocky Balboa and his exit to normal life. A satisfactory conclusion to the Rockey films

I think he is too old to play the part. It would be better if he was a mentor or something to a young actor who is portraying a tough-street fighter kid. Mark Walhberg or Matt Damon or someone.

he's not too old. it shows that pesioners can beat up anyone. after this film is released everyone will be scared of old folks and they will rule the world filling the sea with mush and making everyone live on pensions. yaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy. (ignore that last bit, i'm hungover)
