18 is adult nationwide, beginning the day before your 18th birthday. So I was born on March 20, for legal purposes I'd be considered 18 on March 19, because the law does not consider fractions of a day when determining age.

It's 18 everywhere but they do set down sentences sometimes as if they were an adult if cases are bad in court
