So much idiocy and ignorance and irrational hatred.
At least under Republican leadership, he's needed to go into hiding! He didn't have to hide at all when Clinton was sullying the White House, even after multiple attacks on US targets.
The reason we cannot get to him is mainly logistics. I'll explain.
1. He is hiding in a wild country - no infrastructure (paved roads, electricity, water, etc) and no government. Thus, it is difficult to locate him.
2. Because there is no infrastructure, any troops operating in that area must have everything brought to them (including water), either through easily attacked supply convoys, or through airlift. Either way, the number of troops capable of being supported in the field is limited. And that limited number would be hard pressed to find one person in such a vast area.
3. Strategically, eliminating bin Laden is not that important. He's just one player in one group in the current battles of the overall war on terrorism. Eliminating him solves and stops nothing. And it may even have a negative effect if a lot of idiots think that getting him means the war is over.
So, for these reasons, he remains alive. We'll get that candyass 'fraidy-cat soon enough. Don't worry about that.

This may come as a shock to you, but George Bush is not personally responsible for the whole planet. Would you like us to invade Pakistan to root bin Laden out? While we're at it, let's go to Syria and get Iraq's WMDs to add to the more than 500 chemical warheads we found in country so the Democrats might finally stop saying there were no WMDs.
Do you know what WMD stands for?

Probably has something to do with how whiny little liberals like you put bumper stickers on their cars that say, "It will be a good day when the Air Force has to hold a bake sale to buy fighter jets and the public schools have all the funding they need."

It is not just the republicans but instead it is all of our elected officials. They are too busy squabbling over party lines to accomplish anything of importance. The Dem's will filibuster every ruling that builds any steam. The Reps will try to roll oil drilling issues into defense appropriations bills. It is just politics as always.
