Try lasagna. It's yummy. My mom makes the best and we aways go over there for Christmas dinner. Want to come? She would be happy to have a guest, as long as you're not a serial killer. :)

Ah..Yes. I am tired of turkey and not a fan of Ham either. My family makes many dishes for Christmas because we are a culturally diverse family.

Try this: You could make a Pot Roast for a meat. Also, maybe you are tired of the plain old dry turkey. You could cut the turkey into peices and soak it in a marinade, cook it, and have turkey, a different style, for Christmas.

Instead of Mashed Potatoes, maybe a potato casserole. That's always yummy. You could also combine rice and some gravy, it's something different, and tasty. (with some cilantro on top to make it pretty)

No one really likes Fruit Cake, I know. But honestly, Fruit Cake is quite good if you know where to find it, and what kind to get. Try going to a hispanic food store (peruvian or whatever) and get something called "Paneton" it's delicious and soft. Not the typical American fruitcake.

Try a new Christmas style, maybe your family will enjoy it!

How about cornish hens? I did that for t-day. 1 per person, cooking directions are right on the package.

I highly recommend cooking these with Sandra Lee's herbed butter recipe. You will NOT believe how scrumptious they are!

3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons garlic herb sauce mix (recommended: Knorr)
1 1/2 teaspoons crushed garlic

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, poultry seasoning, garlic herb sauce mix, and crushed garlic. Use a fork to mix together until well combined. Cover and put in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes, until firm but not hard.

Use your finger to carefully loosen the skin around the entire bird. Take the butter mixture and cut into large pieces. Place the butter pieces under the skin of the entire bird. Rub the remaining butter pieces on the outside of the skin and season with salt and pepper.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aND0D

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

We're going to have a pork roast with apple stuffing.

You could always try goose or duck, if you're looking for something a little different.

Of course, there's nothing that says that you have to roast anything. You could always try something that's sauteed with a rich wine sauce, like a chicken marsala. Lots of choices, depending on how much time you want to spend.
