He is 22 years old, and has everything he wants or needs so this makes it really hard to pick a gift. He's into sports and he also likes to dress really nice, somwhat of a trendy guy. Please help at this point any options are good. Thanks!!!

depending on how much $ you want to spend a hermes tie is always nice, or a nice pair of cufflinks.

Make him a basket that contains everything the two of you would need for a nice night out, like a gift card for dinner and some romantic items. You can get really creative with a gift basket.

Break up with him. Do it over an e-mail or text message. Those are the funniest ways. Sounds like he doesn't need you if he has everything he needs and wants already at 22.
