So the new season that will begin in February 2007 is going to be an "All-Star" edition. Does anyone else think that this is unnecessary as Amazing Race doesn't typically involve teams backstabbing each other, making alliances, garnering votes from the others to win the whole thing? I mean, we've seen these teams race before, the only thing different is going to be where they go and what challenges they have to do. Is there anyone else out there who would rather see them have 12 teams that we haven't met before instead of recycling teams from the past?

I really like the idea of having an All Star season because I'm interested in seeing if any of the teams learned anything from the previous time they participated.

A lot of times we see teams struggling to adapt to the new county/culture, and by the time the race ends, they have a much broader view of the world. If this change was deep enough, then they should be able to perform that much better. Otherwise, if they haven't learned anything, they'll struggle just as much.

I do think it would be interesting to see if the dynamics of the game change at all.

There were some Amazing Race teams I liked a lot that didn't win, and it would be nice to see some of them have another shot at the million dollars.

And some of the winners are cool. Uchenna and Joyce, I would like to see them back. They were great.

Apparently Rob and Amber are back. The best thing you can say is they aren't as annoying as they could be. But I would hate to see them win the All-Star edition.

i agree. i think the best reality show for all stars is Survivor.........i mean, it's just so interesting to think how all those people from different seasons would interact.......but amazing race??? it's a race, not a game involving strategy! I think it'd be boring.

Instead of All Stars, they should do a race with all people who were eliminated first. Although, that could get pretty lame fast. A race of all 2nd place finishers would be great, except that Rob and Kim would be back and I couldn't stand them in this last race. "I love you , I love you, babe. YOU SUCK!!!!"

confident! i'm going to be excited to make certain who comes lower back. i did no longer watch this previous season that continuously, yet i'm going to be this time around. to this point as Rob and Amber, I heavily isn't upset in the event that they do no longer look to be there. they have fished that lake dry, for my area.

i agree. but maybe they think having these past players come back will increase their ratings, because typically "all stars" ar the players that stirred the most trouble or were the most memorable....
