this is an AA chip, alcoholics anonnymous. It looks to be a 4 year chip. Every year AA gives you one for each year you have been clean of drugs and alcohol. On the back is the serenity prayer they say....one of my favorites!

It looks like an anniversary coin that DRA gives to people for days of sobriety. It could mean 1 week of sobriety or 1 year of sobriety. I think it depends on the local DRA Chapter to define it.

DRA is Dual Recovery Anonymous

That's a sobriety coin. When you're sober for a certain amount of time, the treatment that you're in will give you a sobriety coin for you to keep. I wonder who's it was...maybe they are drunks again.

it is a 4 yr. anniversary token given to an individual who has completed 4 yrs. of sobriety. It is usually given to members of Alcoholics Anonymous...Each year of sobriety would have a "coin" with the appropriate roman numeral date stamped on it...hope this helps..
