I used to have dreams of my father many times after he died and it was around this time of year when he passed away.
It depends on the dream! If you are a religious person light a candle in his memory. Maybe you have reached a point in your life where as you could benefit from his guidance. You will know what to do, just relax and wonder why you dreamt of him and the answer will come to you. You can contact me to discuss it further.
Take care and Happy Holidays!!

How you should respond to It depends on the mood of the dream. Did your father seem troubled or disturbed In anyway? Did you wake up feeling sad? He may be coming to you, to ensure that his memory Is honored and his soul given the assistance It needs to find rest. Is his grave attended to, and the anniversary of his past observed? He may be coming to you to ask you to rectify things.

Did you wake up feeling comfort and warmth? If so, he Is just paying you a visit. He came to say hello, express his love and support for you, and to remind you he Is there for you, proud of you, and will always be your father. There Is no reason for worry, your father has given you either, a mission or a gift.

It means he's still there for you, and it's all okay, just a reminder maybe. When my mom's sister died everyone in the family (excluding me :( ) had a dream about her, just as a final goodbye and not to grieve anymore. Out of nowhere it may just be a reminder, and if he said anything take it as best you can. Try to understand what he said. What exactally happened in the dream?

He is trying to tell you something...You might be doing something wrong inyour life that you know he would not approve of or you have done something he is very proud of you and wanted to tell you that himself...
If you had the same dream 3 nights in the row then it is a true dream but, less than 3 nights then don`t worry about it...

You probably encountered a person or situation which made you unconsciously think of your father. This thought came out in your dreams.

I feel he has come to you for a visit. I believe it is a way for your loved ones to let you know they are fine and with you all the time. It should make you feel good that he is still there for you.

I don't think it 'means' anything, other than you dreamt about them. I have dreams about people from my life who have died and it doesn't 'mean' anything.
