hiya!! Im 17.4 weeks pregnant and i think i can feel baby moving. However, its not a 'fluttering' sensation like most people say, more of a 'ticking' sensation...likehow u would imagine the sound of a clock to actually feel, if that makes any sense? am i going completely mad, or has anyone else experienced this? Its worse at night, just when I'm settling down for sleep!

it seems constant, for around half hour or so. Then I fall asleep. It happens around the same time every night

When I was about 14 weeks, I felt my baby moving. It felt like gentle tapping inside my stomach -- almost like pop corn popping! I never thought it felt like "flutters". Now, I'm 33 weeks and my baby moves like CRAZY! I feel like he doesn't stop. Just wait until you're further along. I still can't get over the movements!!! I can feel his hiccups too and he does that a lot.

Congrats & good luck! :)

That is how mine kinda felt before, but my baby's kicks are getting a little stronger since I am going on 23 weeks. It seems like my baby likes to move the most at night when I lay down too.

kind of like popcorn...at a steady rate? That's probably hiccups!!!!!

That's how it was for me anyway. It was at regular intervals (usually) and it reminded me of popcorn...like a little pop and then it stops, then a pop and stop! However, it could be movement.

Just keep waiting and when you do feel movement, you'll be able to tell the difference! I still think it's probably hiccups and I think those are one of the cutest things EVER in pregnancy!

I feel that from my baby all the time, that is the little one moving. My baby is more active at night too. I am 30 weeks and it has gotten to the point were it keeps me up at night.
