Pauling Electronegativity values of the elements:
S=2.58, O=3.44, Cl=3.16
Justify greatest polarity on basis of greatest electronegativity difference
e.neg difference
S-O, 3.44-2.58=0.86
Cl-O, 3.44-3.16=0.28
Cl-Cl =0
