It is Dec. Cold weather. 60 mile an hour winds. Dangerous. Why go?

So they could laugh and laugh and laugh as we taxpayers shelled out 5 or 6 million dollars trying to find their dumb azzes.

I keep asking this question. It was INSANITY and we see their relatives on TV with such bravado and so forth. I would never sit still for my relative to go do something like that.

AND WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS "RESCUE" I think the families should pay.

Have you any idea how much all those rescuers and that equipment is costing? at least a Million: to rescue dead bodies.

I think the Federal and State governments should make it clear from now on: go on recreational stuff like this you are on your own - no rescuers and nothing unless the family pays for the rescue attempts.

That will stop this kind of foolishness.

It's an adrenalin rush. They had the time and they were not just mountain climbers, they were survivalist too. They had all the training they would possibly need to do this climb so they did.

They were not from the Northwest. There are very few winter accents of Rainier, Baker, Adams or Hood.

Adventure. Most people like to risk it and think the worse case scenarios won't happen to them. I guess.
