I am a southern california resident and had Cingular for the past two years. Cingular's coverage is horrible here especially in the Orange County area. About 80 to 90 percent of my calls were dropped every day. I had a emergency and called 911 one time from my cell phone and it took me 10 minutes before getting through their network. Be careful too. It seems Cingular tries to increase your fees on your monthly bill just to get some revenue without any reason. I suggest getting T-Mobile from what my family and friends advice.

I got Cingular automatically when they acquired AT&T. It's not the customer service that's so bad (it's not excellent or anything) but it's the coverage area that's atrocious. I went from never having dropped calls or static calls or stuff like that to really bad coverage where I can't even place or receive calls in my home or place of work. Frequently while driving, the calls drop.

I have a T-Mobile plan from work. It's really good.

i could say Cingular via fact they have an fabulous coverage section, plus they are the only agency that provides roll over minutes. Ever different agency have use it or lose it. I even have been looking into amp'd cellular via fact they furnish infinite each time minutes yet they are particularly new (a minimum of to my section) so i'm uncertain approximately them yet.My husband and daughters have T-cellular, their shopper help is great yet their coverage section sucks. We return and forth to North Carolina lots and that they've a puzzling time getting a sign.
