Republicans are so retarded that they have to make everything biased

Depends what you mean by Republican scientific studies. If you're just talking about a study done by someone who leans to the right then probably not... or if so not noticeably. But if you mean studies done by the Republican party then definitely. But the same goes for the Democrat party.

Politics and religion should not mix with science. If the study is undertaken with a partisan political objective in mind, yes, its results and conclusions are biased. If data is reviewed by a political talking head, rather than by a scientist, there's also a bias.

Any study that purports to be affiliated with any political party is going to be biased. It can only be an unbiased scientific study if it is not interpreted in any way other than through the scientific method.

Not really. The just pick the studies that happen to agree with thier point of view.

Not all studies are done to the same standard, and some "scientist" aren't scrupulous enough to keep thier own politics out of thier results.

Not to mention the millions of studies that have been done are continue to be done. Sometimes people who want to reflect a certain point deliberately pick older studies that are only newly being contested and remark on how these new studies are so young with thier's has the "test of time". This despite the infinite number of possible studies and limited number of people to perform them.

Just my 2 cents.

Any study is biased it seems. Government studies are under pressure to show expected results on a politically charged subject based on who is in charge. Anything funded by any industry has to find in favor of the industry. I have my own interests in the environment, food, etc. and all the cited studies are generally quoted 'out of context' and some go so far as to say stuff like 'although no conclusive evidence linking (blank) and (blank) was found, the preponderance of external observations lead us to believe...' In other words 'we just think so'.

I've grown horribly jaded about studies.

How dare you? You should know that the republicans have the best scientific results that money can buy! Biased? no way, they are bought and paid for!

All Republican AND Democratic scientific studies are usually pretty biased...the researchers figure out what they want to prove, then tailor research to fit the intended conslusion. (Even if they have to ignore some evidence, and make up some other...)

yeah, the words "biased" and "scientific" don't make any logical sense. The nature of the scientific method of research makes bias impossible...

BUT, there can always be new evidence that might suggest one thing over another....

All govermental "scientific studies" are biased, and especially with the republicians, have NO factual basis.

No, most Republican scientific studies are objective. The way they black out those reports and reword them are why people don't trust Republican scientific studies. Don't blame the scientists, blame the bureaucrats.
