Yes, I am very happy with Sears service, I have always purchased Sears appliances until recently. Even more now, with Frigidaire factory service I was without a clothes washer for 6 weeks, initial 2 weeks for first visit, another two weeks for the second visit, with the wrong part, gave up after 6 weeks and the part was still not in, finally returned it to Lowe's and got a replacement . With sears the initial visit was withing 7 days and they carry many parts on the truck, if a part was needed, they were back out within the second week and had it repaired. Two weeks is inconvenient but they seem to be better than other factory service. The best service is to buy from a independent dealer who services what they sell themselves, they want you to purchase from them in the future and go out of their way to accommodate you, in your case they would "lend" you a fridge while you wait for them to get a part.

Disappointed in Sears Customer Service
I called your Service Department on November 16th 2015, talked with a gentlemen by the name of Ralph and he helped me purchase a Sears service agreement for repairs on my LG Washer for $232.99, but at no time did he ask or mention that I could have purchased a full Sears Protection Agreement for just over $500.00 which would have covered all my appliances, that is poor Customer Service. After purchasing the 1st agreement I scheduled a Repair for the Washing machine for Thursday the 19th between 1pm and 5pm, and a general maintenance service for the Dryer. The technician for the Dryer showed up at 1pm and was a wonderful person and he informed me about the other agreement and we called Sears on his phone and he set up the purchase of the other agreement for $411.09 that now covers my Dryer, Refrigerator, Stove and Range Hood. Also while the technician and I were on the phone he asked the status of the repair technician and they told us that he was on his way. 4 hours later he never showed up or called me or dispatch and never listed a reason why he was not going to show up and I had to call Customer Service and find out where the Technician was, and I was told by The Customer Service Department, quote “I DON’T KNOW AND I DON’T KNOW WHY HE DID NOT CALL YOU” I heard that statement by 3 different Customer service Reps and 3 Separate Customer Service Supervisors. The part that frustrates me the most is that since the technician never showed up on Thursday, Sears is telling me the best they can do is reschedule me for Wednesday the next week. So I call on Monday and between Monday and Thursday I pay Sears over $700 in Service agreements and because there Technician is unable to do his job I am told I have to wait another week and hope and pray that the technician does his job this time and shows up or at least call. That is very Sad to say the least that this is the kind of shabby Service that one of the largest retailers believes is acceptable to their customers.

The one thing that you should know, is that Sears offers a money back guaranty. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for whatever reason you can return the item. I don't know how long you've had your refrigerator, but you should of returned it. You are not satisfied with the product. My husband bought a lawnmower, kept it all summer, didn't like it, returned it. You might want to try returning it. Hope it goes well for you. I know what you mean about these Companies that take your money and don't bother after the sale.

Why not use the services of your "local" appliance repair shop ? Check--ask around town. These guys can offer faster repairs on the whole, and lower charges than "factory trained" company guys. They are,in general,as capable as any other. Some will even let you use a "loaner", if extended repairs are needed. Furthermore --they have more "elbow room" in working with you than a company man,on charges/payment, and you deal with him direct. Much better deal I believe. Try it -- You might like it. Merry Christmas.

I agree. hint-- once you call for service from sears, ask which interior sight service employer they are going to be sending to do your restore. fairly some the time they subcontract out the artwork. as quickly as you recognize the service companies call, you could deal immediately with them. Bugging sears gets you no the place often. Repeated calls to a small employer gets you moved up on the checklist. they don't have time to maintain chatting with the comparable customer. stable success.

that's what happens when we go the bigger is better way. there aren't many independent repair guys left anymore. if you find one, use him. he needs the business, keeping you happy is important to his staying in business. sad to say, but that's what is happening to all services in this country. people are going to home depot for roofing and siding and the guys that were any good are driven out and the ones that weren't any good went to work there. so that's the kind of work you'll get. we have the power to spend wisely, use it or lose it!! happy holidays.

sear's service has always sucked, i know of several ppl who called concerning appliance problems and ran into the very same thing...their products are bad and their service is worse...file a complaint with the better business bureau...they can help.

Yes! My father bought a lawn mower/tractor and it was delivered UPSIDE DOWN and when he called to get it replaced, it was said that he had to pay 160 dollars for them to pick it up! Nevertheless, he got it replaced for free and got 10% off.
